#23 Glider Ride

You will be towed to a height of approximately 4,000 feet and released to soar!  You can typically see Cedar Point, the Islands, downtown Cleveland and, on really clear days, Canada!  Your instructor Greg has been a certified flight instructor since 2009 and has multiple ratings.  The glider club he flies with is Fun Country Soaring, located at Ortner Airport, 9620 OH-60, Wakerman OH 44889 The flight will be in a Blanik L-23 or a Grob 103 depending on availability.  There is a weight limit of 220 lbs (fully clothed) and a height limit of 6’3”.  The ride is weather dependent, and they can schedule or reschedule as needed.  Greg flies on Wednesdays or Saturdays.  A typical flight can last between 20 to 60 minutes as long as conditions are right.
