The Andy Nowacki Foundation, Inc
Providing scholarships to students who want to serve their communities as a firefighter, emt, or police officer.

Whether as a police officer or a Marine, Andy Nowacki dedicated his life to helping others.  Andy was killed in action on February 26, 2005 while protecting a convoy south of Baghdad.  His family chose to honor his life by creating the Andy Nowacki Memorial Scholarship at Lakeland Community College in Kirtland, Ohio and will soon be available at other locations as well.

The scholarship is awarded to students who will serve the public and who exemplify his compassion for people, his passion for doing the right thing, and who, like him, demonstrate a positive attitude towards achieving worthwhile career and life goals.

The Andy Nowacki Foundation is a non-profit corporation awarded tax exempt status as a public charity under Section 501(C)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code.

Chief Michael Nowacki (ret) of Lincoln Park, NJ passed away on May 9, 2013.  "Uncle Mickey" was instrumental in steering Andy towards a life in public service.  Click here to learn how.
